Where Is The Siofra River Map And How To Reach It

Navigating the vast underground subterranean world in Elden Ring can prove challenging without a proper map fragment. Among these vast subterranean areas, Siofra River stands out as one of the earliest underground regions players discover. Finding the map for Siofra River ensures you can easily locate crucial landmarks, sites of grace, and hidden paths.

How to Reach the Underground Siofra River Region

To access Siofra River, head to East Limgrave near the Mistwood area. Look for a large dome-shaped building known as the Siofra River Well, located just north of the Minor Erdtree. Step onto the lift inside to descend deep into the earth.

Upon reaching the bottom, step off the elevator and proceed forward through a short stone corridor. Ride the second lift upward to enter the main cavern of Siofra River Depths. Activate the nearby site of grace to establish a safe respawn point before continuing your exploration.

Finding the Siofra River Map Fragment Location

Once you enter the main region, summon your mount and travel east along the riverbank. Pass through the ruins and watch out for hostile ancestral followers patrolling the grassy areas. Continue moving east until you spot a massive stone staircase leading to the Hallowhorn Grounds.

The map fragment rests on a corpse sitting at the base of these prominent stairs. Approaching the right pillar near the staircase allows you to loot the item safely. Acquiring this map fragment immediately unveils the entire layout of the Siofra River region on your world map.

Tips for Exploring Siofra River Safely

Siofra River is home to dangerous ancestral snipers who fire powerful magic arrows from long distances. Use terrain features, rock formations, and ruins to block their line of sight while moving between objectives. Riding Torrent helps you cover ground quickly to avoid taking unnecessary damage.

Lighting the eight stone braziers scattered across the area unlocks access to the main regional boss. Tracking down all eight pillars becomes significantly easier once you have the map unlocked on your screen. Always check your surroundings carefully before picking up loot in high-risk zones.

Key Features Unlocked with the Siofra River Map

Having a clear map makes it easy to locate hidden merchants and unique teleporters hidden in the ruins. It also helps you find the pathway connecting to Caelid via the Deep Siofra Well elevator. With the map in hand, navigating through this mystical underground realm becomes far less daunting.
